The Psychology Department is one of the largest departments on campus and our three connected buildings (known collectively as Franz Hall) provide ample space (over 120,000 square feet) for psychological research. Laboratory facilities within the Department are of the highest quality. Precision equipment is available for electro-physiological stimulation and recording, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), control of stimuli used in human and animal experiments and for all major areas of sensory study, including sensory-neural investigation. Specially designed laboratories exist for studies of group behavior and naturalistic observation. An extensive vivarium contains facilities for comparative and physiological studies on animals.
