Pre-Psychobiology Requirements
All of the following Procedures and Requirements will be strictly enforced:
Students who fail to meet any of these preparation requirements will be changed from Pre-Psychobiology to Undeclared.

Suggestions for preparation work: Take Chemistry 14C or 30A before Life Sciences 3. Transfers should try to complete all of the preparation courses by the end of their first year at UCLA. Note that Pre-Psychobiology students may enroll in some of the Core and Elective courses. Refer to the Schedule of Classes for enrollment restrictions.
*Must be declared Pre-Psychobiology to enroll.
Psychobiology Major Requirements
To declare major standing, students must first complete all of the preparation courses (all grades assigned) and meet all of the requirements listed above. Students must declare the Psychobiology major in the Psychology Advising Office in 1531 Franz Hall.
An overall GPA of 2.00 (C) is required in the upper division courses. All Core, Laboratory, and Elective courses must be taken for a letter grade.

**Major standing & Psych 115 required for enrollment in Psych 116. Pre-Psychobiology majors may petition to enroll only if Psych 100A, Psych 100B, and Psych 115 are completed and there is space available. Neuroscience 101L can be taken in place of Psych 116 if student meets all prerequisites for enrollment.
***Students may complete more than one course from this area. Additional coursework counts toward the 16 elective units.
****No unit or grade credit will be given for taking both Psych 127 and 128
