Virtually There - with Elluminate!

You can now use Elluminate/Blackboard Collaborate for virtual meetings or classes

Users of the CCLE/Moodle system can easily add "Elluminate" to their course websites, allowing students to participate in the class over the internet.  You can chat, share files, watch or record lectures all within an Elluminate session.

Now this has been extended to allow any department member the ability to setup an Elluminate session for meetings or other purposes.  Using a SAS hosted Blackboard Collaboration site you can invite anyone to participate in your meetings just by sending them an email invitation.  Clicking on a link in the invitation opens a Java window on the participant's workstation where they can view and hear whatever it is that you are displaying in your Elluminate session.
