Postdoctoral Fellow/Clinical Trial Supervisor
Postdoctoral Scholar position in the Psychology Department - Child STEPs Project."
Seeking Ph.D. interested in pursuing a career in youth mental health services research for the UCLA clinical trial site of the Child System and Treatment Enhancement Projects (Child STEPs), a collection of nation-wide efforts examining dissemination of evidence-based practices (www.childsteps.org). Position will entail co-leadership of the UCLA site project, supervision of community clinic practitioners in the use of evidence-based treatments for children and adolescents, supervising clinical trial assessment staff, developing and testing information technology systems in the dissemination of evidence-based practices, work on IRB submissions, and mentoring and supervising clinical psychology graduate students at the University of California, Los Angeles. Opportunities exist for professional development in several domains such as grant writing, publication from existing databases, creating and providing community and/or school-based trainings, workshops, and teaching seminars, etc. Inquiries are especially encouraged from individuals who have:
· (a) a Ph.D. in clinical psychology (by start date),
· (b) skills and experience in behavioral parent training and/or CBT for youth depression and/or anxiety,
· (c) experience and interest in technology and information systems as they relate to child mental health research,
· (d) experience in and clear potential for a career in clinical research, and
· (e) strong organizational and leadership ability.
