          List of Psychology Related Conferences

This year, we are pleased to be able to offer eligible graduate students an increased amount of up to $150-300 to help defray the expense of presenting their research at one conference during the period July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014.   There will be only one review period covering both completed travel and travel planned for later in the year.

         APPLICATION DEADLINE: January 17, 2014

Conference Travel Grants help defray costs for our graduate students presenting posters or papers on their own research. Applicants must be the sole author of the research to be presented, or, in the case of multiple authors, the student must be the presenting author. In the case of Psychonomics and the Society for Multivariate Experimental Psychology; exceptions will be considered, since only faculty members are permitted to present at these meetings. Eligible expenses are limited to transportation costs (airfare, train tickets or mileage) and/or registration fees for one conference. Lodging, food costs, membership fees, pre-registration fees, submission fees, taxis, shuttles and/or poster printing costs will NOT be reimbursed. Expenses will be reimbursed after travel is completed and the required documentation is presented. Students must be registered and enrolled both the quarter that they complete the travel and the quarter that they will be reimbursed. If you attend a conference during the summer months, you must be registered and enrolled in the previous spring and following fall quarters to be eligible. You are only eligible for an award if you presented at the conference. Just attending a conference does not make you eligible for reimbursement. Once we know how many students are seeking reimbursement, we will be able to determine how much each applicant will be reimbursed. We are aiming to be able to provide at least $150-300 per student. We will notify you of the amount that you will receive by the end of February.
