Special Programs and Events
Gain research experience while attaining information and guidance on pursuing a graduate degree. Open to students from underrepresented groups (i.e. students eligible for financial aid, first generation college students).
Conduct individualized research and attend a weekly seminar, culminating with the completion of an Honors thesis. Satisfactory completion leads to being awarded a degree with honors or highest honors. The 2013-14 cohort for the Departmental Honors Program has been selected. Check back during Spring 2014 for more information on the application process for the 2014-15 cohort.
The 23rd Annual Psychology Undergraduate Research Conference will take place in May 2014. This conference allows undergraduate psychology students from UCLA, other California campuses and campuses across the nation to share their research at a professional conference designed specifically for them. Please check back in January 2014 for application information for the 2014 conference.
Students who have declared Fall 2012, Winter 2013, Spring 2013, or Summer 2013 as their Degree Expected Term are eligible to participate in the Spring 2013 Psychology Commencement Celebration.
