Fernald Child Study Center
The Department also operates the Fernald Child Study Center, a research facility on campus committed to investigations of childhood behavior disorders. The Center contains several classrooms, an outdoor playground, and space for individual as well as family assessments, with excellent recording capabilities for data collection. Studies at Fernald focus on such issues as social behavior, family factors, learning and achievement, and intervention strategies, all related to child psychopathology.
