Open hour for you to learn how to maximize your use of Mailman

Mailman is the distribution list application that we use to communicate important information to members of the department like "all staff," or "ladder faculty."

We invite you to spend a few minutes with IT staff members who can explain how these lists work, and answer questions for list members and list owners alike.

  • Do you know how to find out what lists you're on?
  • Do you know how to add and remove members on lists you own?
  • Do you know how to restrict sending mail to the lists?
  • Did you know that you can "nest" lists?

Please join us on December 4 to get the answers to these questions and more. We will spend one-on-one time with you to quickly give you the information that you need.

Though you don't need to stay for the whole hour, your RSVP to Dawn Canfield (dawnc@psych.ucla.edu) would be appreciated.

Thank You!
