NSF Postdoc Research Fellowship Recipients

Congratulations to our recent graduates, Natsuki Atagi and Hannah Schacter (Developmental Area) who received National Science Foundation SBE Postdoctoral Research Fellowships. The Directorate for Social, Behavioral and Economic Sciences offers Postdoctoral Research Fellowships to encourage independence early in the Fellow's career through supporting his or her research and training goals.

UCLA Fellowship in Political Psychology

Congratulations to Lauren Goldstein (Social Area) and Jesús Serrano-Careaga (Social Area) for receiving awards from the UCLA Fellowship in Political Psychology. This endowment was established in response to an anonymous gift on December 17, 1999.  The fellowship is for doctoral students specializing in political psychology, the study of mass politics, and/or intergroup relations. Recipients of the award will on collaborative research with faculty.

Anthony Rodriguez receives the Walter Klopfer Award

Congratulations to Anthony Rodriguez (Quant Area) whose paper with Steven Reise and Mark Haviland “Applying Bifactor Statistical Indices in the Evaluation of Psychological Measures” has been selected to receive the Walter Klopfer award for the best empirical paper published in the Journal of Personality Assessment in 2016. Anthony and his co-authors will be recognized at the Society for Personality Assessment (SPA) Convention in March.

Congratulations to our four awardees of the UCLA Division of Life Sciences Mautner Fellowships. The awardees are Anne Collins (BNS) and Hannah Schacter (Developmental) for the one quarter awards and (Amy) Zhong Sheng Zheng (BNS) and Chloe Boyle (Health) for the summer awards. The Mautner Fellowships were awarded to advanced doctoral candidates whose research will be enhanced by the fellowship.
