Description of Organization and Population Served: 
At Center for the Pacific Asian Family (CPAF), we help Asian and Pacific Islander (API) survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and their families. Our services are free, confidential, and available in more than 30 Asian and Pacific Islander languages.
Description of Fieldwork Project and Responsibilities of Intern: 
As part of the shelter program team, the shelter Program Intern will develop practical experience and training in domestic and sexual violence, crisis-intervention, family counseling, child development, and trauma informed care. * interns will develop programs for women to support their needs and to help clients self-advocate and to live independent lives. 1. Program curricula for self-empowerment 2. Program curricula for self-advocacy 3. Program curricula for parenting support * interns will also develop programs for children to improve child care development 1. Program activities that utilize create art as an emotional expression 2. Program activities that reach milestones in motor skill development
Special Qualifications: 
Must complete 65-hour Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Training
