Description of Organization and Population Served: 
The G.A.P (Generating All Possibilities) is a program through FACT Family that supports young adults on the Autism spectrum. We focus on four areas within this day program: self-advocacy, educational, vocational, and personal goals. We are looking for interns to be an academic support, lead workshops, and be a support to main staff. Interns with strong interpersonal communication skills are strongly encourage to apply. Description of Fieldwork Project and Responsibilities of Intern: 
Interns will be supporting young adults diagnosed with ASD, ADHD/LD and other learning issues with learning RED Cross curriculum, doing homework, and apprenticing at local businesses in Westwood. 195A interns will be acting as job coaches, academic coaches and social coaches teaching our GAP students executive functioning skills, social skills and educational/vocational skills. 195A students will work closely with the GAP Program Director and will learn a new skill set for working with those diagnosed with ASD, ADHD/LD.
Special Qualifications: 
It is not necessary but will be helpful if you have worked with teens in the past. Special qualifications that would be of great help to our students are: knowledge of word, excel, power point, web design, making flyers, special events coordinating, fundraising, creative writing. The above list is not necessary but will be very helpful. We will gladly accept any one interested in learning how to work with and support this population.
Hourly Commitment Per Week: 
6-8 hours
