Description of Organization and Population Served: 
Fabletics is an innovative, high-quality activewear line, co-founded by Kate Hudson, and based in El Segundo, CA. Fabletics ships within the U.S. and also Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Spain, Netherlands and U.K. Fabletics is a data driven company that optimizes marketing strategies on a daily basis based on real-time consumer insights. Within the social media department, we interact with consumers on platforms that satisfy fundamental drives, such as belonging, connecting with others and self-expression. Cognitive Science students will have the opportunity to observe and analyze consumer behavior, how and why consumers interact with digital content and how consumers interpret brand messages. Students will be responsible for weekly and monthly analysis of digital content and campaigns and why it did or did not resonate with our audience. These insights will be used to further enhance and evolve social media marketing efforts.
Description of Fieldwork Project and Responsibilities of Intern: 
• Assist in brainstorms and scheduling daily content across Fabletics social media platforms on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Youtube, Instagram, Snapchat and Fabletics blog • Assist with weekly and monthly reporting to optimize content and campaigns • Assist with the Brand Ambassador Program, brainstorming campaigns and product seeding . • Assisting on photo shoots and help create engaging content • Monitor trends in social media, fashion, culture, and applications and appropriately apply that knowledge to create viral content that will increase word of mouth and increase brand loyalty with Fabletics fans. • Help with day to day operations including administrative duties • Conduct on-going research projects on key industry trends and competitive insights
Special Qualifications: 
Fabletics will hire one student interns for the social media department. Desired qualifications are: • Knowledge of leading social media platforms and viral content as well as knowledge of emerging trends and technologies • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Interest in data and consumer behavior insights • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while working effectively and collaboratively with team members • Must be internet savvy and have a strong interest in social media and health and fitness • Must be comfortable using excel, Powerpoint, MS word, Photoshop
