Congratulations to Jiayang Li, a second year Cognitive Science major who was selected to receive the Dean’s Prize for Undergraduate Research. Jiayang presented their research project “Emotion Compass: Investigating Relationship Between Depression and Trauma Symptom Profiles and Dynamic Emotional States Evoked by Music Using a Mobile Emotion Tracker,” which they conducted under the mentorship of Professor David Clewett.
The Dean’s Prize for Excellence in Research Award is awarded for outstanding livestreamed presentations of faculty-mentored research at the Undergraduate Research & Creativity Showcase during UCLA’s Undergraduate Research Week.
