Psi Chi is the National Honor Society in Psychology, founded in 1929 for the purposes of encouraging, stimulating, and maintaining excellence in scholarship, and advancing the science of psychology. By joining Psi Chi you will be able to: meet other psychology majors, establish contacts with faculty, learn about research and scholarship opportunities that are available only to members, and participate in community service activities.
Undergraduate Research Journal of Psychology (URJP)
The Undergraduate Research Journal of Psychology at UCLA (URJP) is an online journal published by students interested in cross-disciplinary psychological research. The journal is published annually at the end of Spring quarter. It is a collaborative effort between students at UCLA and neighboring universities and features research in psychology, neuroscience, linguistics, cognitive science, and other psychology-related fields. Group members work closely with graduate students, faculty, and other research mentors to design, edit, and critique the submitted research papers.
Students that are passionate about research and psychology are encouraged to submit their research papers to URJP.
Cognitive Science Student Association
The Cognitive Science Student Association is for students that have interests in psychology, artificial intelligence, anthropology, linguistic, education, philosophy, and computer science. The group offers members the opportunity to do research, publish, hold discussions, network, and form peer mentorships.
