Purpose
A research team at UCLA’s Relationships and Health Laboratory invites you to participate in a voluntary research study. We hope to evaluate whether an evidence-based text messaging program developed by clinical psychologists and grief experts can provide an accessible method of providing mental health and academic functioning after grief. The 12-month subscription sends 2 automated texts per week related to grief education, validation, and coping strategies.
Involvement
You will be assigned to receive the 12-month text messaging program either at enrollment or 6 months following enrollment. You will complete 20-minute surveys at 0, 3, 6, and 12 months following enrollment.
Benefits
You will not be financially compensated for the study, but you will receive the 12-month text messaging subscription for grief support (typical cost of $109) for free.
