Description of Fieldwork Project and Responsibilities of Intern
PHILANTHROPY INTERN
Experience an exciting new edtech philanthropy team; participate in ideas and activities related to its philanthropic content research, writing and immersive game development.
In addition, we support a handful of nonprofit organizations with specific activities and needs. You will have a front-row seat to the inner workings of nonprofits and to the educational concepts and design in production.
General responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Assignments related to top client needs, often including prospect research and biographical preparation
• Graphic design
. Foundation and government grant research and writing
• Write and prepare presentation slides
• Write and create content for social media
• Assist in inputting, updating, tracking expenses and revenue, preparing revenue against goal reports
• Participate in designing fundraising campaigns for the Change Lab Scholarship Fund and promotions
Special Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have good English oral and written communication skills, as well as experience and/or a strong interest in the work of nonprofit organizations. Ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, flexible, and works well with a team as well as independently. In addition, the candidate must have a school and personal schedule that allows for two days per week (Thursdays and Fridays generally) in the downtown LA office. Important that the candidate can commit to a minimum of 12 weeks.

This internship will allow me to build on that foundations of perception and apply it to consumers. The marketing and communications interns will provide support to Witness through writing, material development, event planning, research and evaluation. tapouts is an education-technology startup which aims to promote mental resilience and life skills in the future generation of youth.
We do this by offering youth life coaching via live virtual groups, taught and facilitated by our trained coaches, around psychology and life skills topics such as the cognitive behavioral framework, growth and stress mindsets, agency, habits, and other relevant topics for building youth resilience.
tapouts aims to provide a fun and engaging educational experience for youth between the ages of 4 and 16 through the use of games and activities that are tailored around a psychologically-themed lesson.
