Psychology Staff Spotlight Award – Sara Truong
We are happy to announce that Sara Truong, our Graduate Admissions Coordinator, has been selected to receive the Psychology Staff Spotlight Award in recognition of her exceptional contributions to our Graduate Student Services Team. Sara joined us in February 2025, during the peak of the admissions cycle, one of the busiest times of the year for the graduate office. Despite entering the role at such a demanding moment and being new to student services, she quickly distinguished herself as a strong and effective representative of the department.
Her clear communication and approachable demeanor have fostered a welcoming environment for prospective students and those joining our program. In addition to overseeing graduate admissions, Sara skillfully coordinates our annual recruitment day and fall orientation. Her thoughtfulness, organization, and commitment have had a meaningful impact on both our students’ experience and the broader department.
