Announcing the David O. Sears Graduate Student Lounge

Many thanks to Distinguished Professor David Sears for his very important gift to the Department of Psychology. In recognition of David’s extraordinary donation, the graduate student lounge in the renovated Pritzker Hall will be named the David O. Sears Graduate Student Lounge.

David has dedicated six decades to teaching and mentoring UCLA students; it is only fitting that the new graduate student lounge bear the name of one of our most distinguished faculty members. Our deep gratitude goes to David Sears for his abundant generosity and unwavering commitment to the Department’s Ph.D. students, evidence of which will endure for years to come.
