Psychology Staff Spotlight Award – Hugo Limón

We are happy to announce that Hugo Limón, our Helpdesk Coordinator, has been selected to receive the Psychology Staff Spotlight award for this quarter.
Hugo joined the Psychology department in October 2021. Before joining the Psychology IT team, Hugo worked as a Systems Administrator for UCLA SSCERT (Social Sciences Center for Education, Research, and Technology).
Since coming to our department, Hugo has established an excellent reputation for his prompt and friendly customer service with our faculty and staff. Hugo has proven himself to be a valuable asset to our department through his work updating our procedures for buying and deploying new computers. Hugo led a recent project that added several enhancements to our copy/print/scan system. And Hugo has also taken charge of the AV and technical support to our recent faculty recruitments, making sure our important job talks and teaching talks run smoothly. Hugo is a champion of cybersecurity, which puts him in a good position to protect our computers and networks from external threats.
