Congratulations to Research Professor Tara Scanlan for receiving the Distinguished Alumni Award for the College of Applied Health Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Tara was a graduate student in the program that pioneered sports psychology and across her subsequent career has been a leader in defining the discipline.
