Fieldwork in Cognitive Science

To recruit undergraduate Cognitive Science majors to serve as unpaid interns, please submit the Psych 195B Description of Fieldwork Position form below. Once your site is approved, it will be added to the online internship placement listings.

Psychology 195B offers Cognitive Science majors the opportunity to work (non-paid) for course credit in a fieldwork setting in the area of Cognitive Science and earn 4 units of upper division, non-graded course credits for the experience. Students must complete a Psych 195B Learning Contract on and submit it to Psych Advising Office (2812 Life Sciences) by Friday of Week 1. They are then required to intern a minimum of 7 hours per week for the 10-week quarter (summer enrollees are required to intern a minimum of 68 hours over the 6-week session) and attend a one-hour weekly seminar, arranged by the fieldwork supervisor. A five to eight page typed research paper is also required.
