IT Services for Faculty and Staff

Psych IT members can provide or provision many different computing services for you.

Please check the links in the left sidebar for services with which we may assist you.  If we don't offer the service needed ourselves we can probably help you find the group on campus who does!

If you have a new or re-purposed computer that needs to be setup please submit a helpdesk request indicating that.  The helpdesk can handle most "break/fix" or "upgrade/enhance" issues.

If your computer or printer needs internal hardware to be replaced or upgraded this can usually be handled by Technical Services.  You can go to them directly or we will help facilitate your request through our helpdesk.

When purchasing computers you can usually get the best deal from KST.  Make sure you use their customer login by selecting "UCLA Institutional Purchases."  Let us know if you need the account credentials.  The ASUCLA student store is the best place for you to purchase Apple computers and you must login there with your UCLA login ID in order to see prices.


Know your UCLA Logon ID!  It is used for logging into many UC and campus web services, as well as password protected sections of the Psychology website.  Learn more about your UCLA ID account here.

The IT Unit is staffed most normal business days between 8:00am and 5:00pm.
